My Experience

Hi! I'm Candice, founder of Connection Space Counselling. I'm a strong believer in the importance of connection as a form of recovery from mental health challenges. Connection to ourselves, our family or friends, colleagues or our broader community.
​
Connection can be a great antidote for loneliness, depression and anxiety. The first step to enhance your wellbeing can often be achieved by connecting with a therapist through counselling. Together we seek to understand what's troubling you, whether its current stressors and events, or experiences from the past.
​
I have clinical counselling experience working in a variety of settings including private clinics, hospitals and helpline services. Having gained this experience, I am comfortable working with a range of mental health presentations.
